Abstract
The West Bohemian Tertiary relics consist of clays, sands and sandygravels. They represent sheet floods and incised channels in low depressed area of Carboniferous rocks. The redeposited Carboniferous and Proterozoic rocks were recognized in the micropalaeontological research of the clays.
