Abstract
The aeolian sands overlying Upper Pleistocene fluvial gravel and sand of the valley (thalweg) terrace of the Morava River show a development typical for this area. The sand forming characteristic dunes are dated to Late Glacial (Younger Dryas?) and has been found on their surfaces the existence of Mesolithic to Slavonic settlements was evidenced. The youngest Holocene sediments are flood loams.
