Abstract
The paper deals with preliminary results of the research of the Morava River floodplain and emphasizes their importance for the study of floods. It is necessary to understand the dynamism and functions of climatic, geological, hydrogeological and biological processes in the landscape and the importance human impact. Human impact contributes to affect significantly the natural balance.
