Abstract

The Krušné hory Mts. are an area very rich in peat-bog complexes, the Boží Dar peat-bog complex belonging to the largest ones. Two peat bogs in this complex were the subject of palynological research. There were the localities Boží Dar-V rezervaci and Boží Dar and Oceán. The Boží Dar peat bog is an upland moor and two analysed profiles of Boží Dar (V rezervaci, thickness 2.9-3 m) and Boží Dar (thickness 0.32 m) represent vegetational evolution since the late Glacial period until today (BŘÍZOVÁ 1995b). Pollen analysis of the upper layers of the Oceán peat bog depicts the situation since 17th century (BŘÍZOVÁ 1997; thickness 0.38 m). Localities Hora Sv. Šebestiána, Novodomské rašeliniště (Načetín) and Polské bažiny belong to the Šebestián, Novodomské rašeliniště (Načetín) and Polské bažiny belong to the Šebestián peat bog complex. Now several peat bogs in this complex are the subject of palynological in investigation too. There are the localities Hora Sv. Šebestiána (HSŠ, HSŠ-2-Na výsluní, HSŠ-3, HSŠ-4, HSŠ-5, HSŠ-6, HSŠ-7), Polské bažiny, Novodomské rašeliniště-Načetín (NDR, NDR-2) and Načetín-rybník (NAR). Several samples of these localities were radiocarbon - dated (see Tab.1; Gd: Radiocarbon Laboratory Silesian tecnical University, Gliwice; HV: 14C und 3H Laboratorium, Niedersächsisches Landesamt für Bodenforschung, Hannover).
