Abstract

Biodetritic limestones of the so-called "Scyphocrinites Horizon" Devonian, Barrandian area, Czech Republic) yielded lenses and nodules intensively bioturbated by Chondrites intricatus (Brongniart). The patchiness of the bioturbation and its relations to lithological boundaries between individual nodules point out to the conclusion that the bioturbation was contemporaneous with the early diagenesis.
