Abstract
The volcanogenic edaphoids are native product of the pyrometamorphic alteration of fine-grained volcanic glass (pumice). Their identification is difficult because they can be distinguished from the paleosols only by micromorphological analysis. In the surroundings of León they were identified in secondary position redeposited into fossil soils.
