New reviews of Upper Turonian Osteichthyes of Bohemian Cretaceous Basin
Abstract
Preliminary results of review of the Upper Turonian Osteichthyes from the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin are presented here. For the first time new finds of specimens of family Dercetidae in the Upper Turonian of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin are here mentioned. Presence of other specimens in the Upper Turonian is confirmed. A note on finds of the Upper Turonian Osteichthyes remains from one locality in Russia is also mentioned here. The association of the Osteichthyes of the Upper Turonian of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin shows in the meantime close relations with Turonian associations in southern England.
