Abstract

Systematic research of the Lower Devonian reef complex near Konëprusy carried out during the last five years has resulted in a wealth of new information being gathered about the occurrence and stratigraphical distribution of echinoderms, first of all from the Konëprusy Limestone. Besides criiioids (the only group of echinoderms known till recent from the Konëprusy Limestone), numerous remains of representatives of other echinoderm classes, i. e. Rhombifera, Diploporita, Blastoidea, Ophiuroidea, Asteroidea, Ophiocistioidea, Holothuroidea and Echinoidea have been found. The following list shows all the echinoderm taxa that have been described, ascertained or verified in the Koněprusy Limestone (Lower Devonian, Pragian). The newly discovered taxa are marked by an asterisk.
