Abstract
Organic sediments of the Švarcenberk Lake were studied to find out if aeolian material was present within the terrigenous clastic admixture. Samples from the basal layer with the highest inorganic content were studied only in detail as this content decreased rapidly in overlying layers. The obtained results confirmed - having been correlated with samples from typical aeolian sand from the sand dune Pískový vrch near Vlkov - the presence of aeolian sand in basal parts of the lake sediments.
