Inventory of geological projects

Task of the State Geological Survey (SGS), carried out as authorized by the Ministry of the Environment (MoE):

The inventory provides a summary of geological projects and of organizations that carry them out. Geological projects are registered according to Act No. 62/1988, on geological work, and according to MoE Decree No. 282/2001, prior to being carried out.

The documents that must be registered are provided by the organization carrying out the geological work. The organization is obliged to forward the documents within 30 days and no later than one day prior to commencing the work to the Czech Geological Survey, which registers the project (completed registration form) and issues a certificate of confirmation to the organization.
