External databases and information sources
In the study room of the CGS library access is provided to fulltext databases that are recognized world-wide (Science Direct, SpringerLink, Wiley Interscience, Blackwell, GeoscienceWorld ) as well as bibliographical databases (Web of Knowledge, Scopus, Georef and Geobase, Environment Complete). These databases have been made accessible under the terms of the project CzechELib. The library provides remote access for the staff of CGS. On this page can be found the externally licensed and free electronic information sources that are available.

Registered users of the CGS library are given access to licensed sources on condition that they are used only for personal study and research using the procedures and tools approved. When working with licensed sources, the use of other robots or automatic downloading programs it is not allowed.
