CGS Laboratories of anorganic geochemistry The Acredited Central Laboratory at Prague-Barrandov is a laboratory with a long standing experience in the inorganic analysis of rocks, soils, sediments, mineral raw materials and surface and rain water. Our laboratory equipment enables determination of most of chemical elements.
CGS Laboratory of organic geochemistry The CGS Accredited Probational Laboratory in Brno maintains very high standards in the analysis of gases, crude oils and organic matter in rocks, waters and soils for the purpose of environmental geochemistry.
Laboratories of the Geochemistry & Biogeochemistry Department The Laboratory of Stable Isotopes in Prague-Barrandov offers analyses stable isotopes of C and O in carbonates, H and O in waters, C in solid, liquid and gaseous organic materials, N in organic materials and solutions, O in sulfates and S in sulfides and sulfates.
Laboratories of the Rock Environment Department The laboratory facilities at Prague-Barrandov offer a broad scope of methods in the area of mineralogy and special methods, X-ray microanalysis and diffraction, experimental petrology, optical microscopy and micropaleontology, radiogenic isotopes and ultra clean laboratory.
Brno microprobe facility The joint microprobe laboratory of MU Brno and Czech Geological Survey offers the detection and quantification of elements from B to U, acquisition of SE and BSE images, and the collection of X-ray distribution maps.
