The laboratory of electron microscopy and microanalysis (LAREM) is a workplace of the Czech Geological Survey, Department of geochemistry of rock environment. The laboratory mainly deals with applications of electron microscopy, electron microanalysis and structural analysis in geological sciences. The main goals of the laboratory of electron microanalysis is to use laboratory equipment and analytical methods for direct and active cooperation of our specialists with principal investigators and participants of partial research projects. The gained data and results are usually a part of corresponding publication outputs. The laboratory staff also participates on pedagogical activities at domestic and foreign universities.
