Multicollector Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

For analysis of “non-traditional” stable isotopes (Cu, Pb, Zn, Li and Cr) in geological and environmental materials the CGS is equipped by a Thermo Scientific Neptune MC ICP MS, a double focusing multicollector mass spectrometer with ionization through inductively coupled plasma.

Sample preparation for majority of analyses is going on in a specialised ultraclean laboratory, where the maximal accent is put on an elimination of contamination.
