Laboratory of X-ray microanalysis (LAREM) is a division of the Czech Geological Survey, Department of the geochemistry of rock environment

Laboratory engages in an application of scanning electron microscopy, electron microanalysis and structural analysis in the earth science with a special focus on geology.

LAREM staff optimise the anatytical techniques and instrumentation with respect to the character of the particular project or the object of interest. The analytical results are part of the appropriate publication outputs.
