Publications

The Czech Geological Survey edits and publishes a range of reports, monographs journals and maps based on the results of systematic geological investigations carried out in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Publishing has been a fundamental task of the Survey since its foundation. According to the statute of foundation it has a duty to compile geological and thematic maps at different scales and to publish these, together with relevant memoirs and monographs describing the geological investigations carried out by its staff, so that the government and the public can have access to the results.
