At the beginning of December 2003 the complete final reports and maps compiled in 2003 in the framework of the Foreign Development Aid projects - the geological research of natural hazards - have been delivered up. The seventh period of the development aid was realized in Nicaragua, the first project was executed in the Republic of El Salvador. More info and photos here (in Czech).

The access to the Map Server of the Czech Geological Survey has been opened for public. The Server provides the information about maps, geodatabases and related data sources in the CGS Data Warehouse. The applications bring the metainformation on the the maps originated in the CGS since 1919 to present and enable access to maps and geodatabases (as GEOCR50) on the territory of the Czech Republic.
Also other information on the geodata and the data itself are now easily accessible on the CGS Portal in the section GeoDATA.
