All materials produced by the Czech Geological Survey and published on the CGS Information Portal are covered by the copyright.

Reproduction of CGS materials for non-commercial use

The CGS encourages the use of its materials for promotion of geological sciences. CGS provides permission to reproduce free of charge materials like map cutouts, cross-sections, figures, diagrams, and photographs published on the CGS Infromation Server (excluding websites hosted by CGS Information portal). 

Acknowledgement

The following acknowledgement must be added to the reproduced CGS material:
"Reproduced with the permission of the Czech Geological Survey. All rights Reserved"

In case when figures, illustrations, diagrams or map cut-out are used for construction of newly generated illustrations, the source of the material should be cited as follows:
"Based upon (source reference), with the permission of the Czech Geological Survey".

Reproduction of CGS materials for commercial purposes

No part of any CGS content may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, or stored in a retrieval system of any nature, for commercial purposes, without the prior written permission of the CGS. Permission to reproduce such material can be granted by the CGS using copyright arrangements or licences.
