On 21 February 2022, the CO2GeoNet Association, with Czech Geological Survey as an active member on board, organised a webinar dedicated to introduction of its report ´State of Play on CO2 Geological Storage in 32 European Countries´. The report includes latest information on the status of knowledge on storage potential, research, pilot and demonstration projects, status of legislation and overall conditions for CCS technology development in Europe. The main advantage of the report is the fact that it is based on direct information provided by Association members and other allied organisations directly based in individual countries. The whole report has more than 300 pages, two thirds of which are dedicated to an annex describing in detail the situation in individual countries.
