Czech Geological Survey participates in ENOS – a new EU project on CO2 storage

ENOS – Enabling Onshore CO2 geological Storage – is a new research project funded from the EU Horizon 2020 programme. The research focuses on geological storage of carbon dioxide in various onshore geological settings of Europe. The activities are centred on several test and pilot sites; one of them is LBr-1 – a depleted oil & gas field in the Czech Republic. Czech Geological Survey is involved in many project activities, is represented in the project Management Board and coordinates the work related to the LBr-1 site.
